Refund Policy

Most of our work is custom, creative, and effort-based — so refunds work a little differently than with a stocked product. This page explains exactly when a refund is available and when it isn't.

Jiny Craft ("we", "us", or "our") provides branding, graphic design, commercial printing, and digital marketing services. Because most of what we deliver is custom-made and effort-based rather than a stocked product, refunds are handled differently from a typical retail purchase. This Refund Policy explains when a refund is available, when it isn't, and how requests are reviewed. By purchasing a service from Jiny Craft, you agree to the terms below.

1. Purpose

At Jiny Craft, we're committed to delivering high-quality creative, printing, and marketing work. Because many of our services involve custom output and time-based professional effort, this policy sets out clearly when refunds are available and when they are not — so there are no surprises on either side.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all paid services provided by Jiny Craft, including:

  • Branding & Visual Identity
  • Graphic & Print Design
  • Commercial Printing
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
  • Consultation & Strategy Sessions

Any paid service not listed above is still subject to the general principles in this policy unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

3. General Refund Principles

  • Every refund request is reviewed individually, based on the work actually completed.
  • Refunds are only granted in line with this policy, not by default.
  • By purchasing a service from Jiny Craft, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

4. Non-Refundable Services

Because the majority of our work is created specifically for one client, the following services are non-refundable once work has begun:

Branding

Once concepts are created for your brand, they can't be resold or reused for another client:

  • Logo design
  • Brand identity
  • Brand guidelines
  • Custom illustrations

Design

Design work is billed for the creative time invested, not just the final file. Once work has started, the following are non-refundable:

  • Social media designs
  • Flyers & brochures
  • Packaging design
  • Business cards & stationery layouts

Strategy & consultation

Professional time already spent cannot be refunded once it has been delivered:

  • Marketing plans
  • Consultation sessions
  • Research & audits
  • Workshops

Printing

Printed materials are produced to order and generally cannot be refunded, except when:

  • The wrong product was delivered
  • There is a manufacturing defect
  • A printing error was caused by Jiny Craft

Refunds are not issued for errors caused by mistakes in a customer-approved design file (for example, typos, low-resolution images, or incorrect bleed) — see Section 8 on revisions and proof approval.

5. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Work has not yet started on the project.
  • A duplicate payment was made in error.
  • You were charged an incorrect amount.
  • Jiny Craft is unable to deliver the agreed service.
  • The project is cancelled before kickoff (see Section 7).

6. Partial Refunds

If work has already started — for example, discovery has been completed, initial concepts have been delivered, or a strategy session has taken place — only the remaining, unused portion of the project fee may be refunded.

7. Project Cancellation

You may cancel a project at any time by emailing info@jinycraft.com. If work has already begun:

  • Time already spent on the project is billable and will be deducted from any refund.
  • Any remaining balance may be refunded according to the schedule in Section 6.

8. Revision Policy

Revisions are different from refunds. If delivered work does not match the agreed project scope, Jiny Craft will provide revisions according to your selected package before any refund request is considered. Refund requests submitted instead of using available revisions may be declined.

9. Printing Claims

If you receive a printed order with a defect or an error on our part, contact us within 3–7 days of delivery. To process your claim quickly, please include:

  • Photos of the affected item(s)
  • Your order number
  • A short description of the issue

Claims submitted after this window, or without the information above, may not be eligible for a refund or reprint.

10. Marketing Services

Monthly marketing retainers are generally non-refundable. Once campaign setup, ad account work, content creation, or strategy for a given month has begun, those fees are considered earned — regardless of campaign performance.

If you wish to end an ongoing retainer, see Section 7 for our cancellation process.

11. Client Responsibilities

To keep your project on track, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information at the start of the project.
  • Review proofs and drafts carefully before approving them.
  • Approve designs and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Respond to requests for feedback within a reasonable time.
  • Supply any content, images, or fonts you provide with the proper licence to use them.

Delays, errors, or reprints caused by inaccurate information or late feedback from the client do not qualify for a refund.

12. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us at info@jinycraft.com first — most issues can be resolved directly, and faster than through your bank.

Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of ongoing services, collection procedures, and legal action where applicable.

13. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The exact time your funds take to appear depends on your bank, credit card provider, or payment gateway.

Jiny Craft reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above.

16. Additional Terms

Client approval

Once a design or proof is approved, any further changes or reprints requested afterward are billed separately and are not eligible for a refund.

Third-party costs

Fees paid to third parties on your behalf — such as advertising platforms, domain registrars, hosting providers, stock asset libraries, or shipping carriers — are non-refundable.

Abandoned projects

Projects with no client response for 30–60 days may be treated as inactive. Any work completed remains billable, and deposits already paid are non-refundable.

Force majeure

Delays or cancellations caused by events beyond either party's reasonable control — natural disasters, government action, internet or utility outages, and similar events — are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from it will be handled in the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
